Indigenous Round brand

Indigenous Round is one of the biggest weeks in the NRL calendar. I was tasked with creating a look-and-feel for the 2020 Indigenous Round campaign with the theme ‘Pass back, move forward’.

The wedge element aligns with the NRL chevron asset, whilst forming a boomerang shape and pointing in a forwards direction. The background graphic is made up of all the Aboriginal nations across the country to form the map of Australia and to be used as a background subgraphic across all applications.

I also had the pleasure of designing a Player Map, which represents the tribes where the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players are from – making up 12% of the overall playing group.
